Did the issue present with default Shields settings? [Default states are: Block: Ads/Trackers, 3rd Party Cookies, 3rd Party Fingerprinting Allow: Encrypt Connections enabled (HTTPS), Scripts] (yes/no)

How to check iOS and Brave versions

To check your iOS version, go to the Settings app, General, About. Here are some screenshots of my iPhone’s install to illustrate (click image to enlarge if needed):

To check your Brave version, open Brave, tap the “hamburger” menu in the upper left, then the gear icon in the upper left of the pop-down you get from the hamburger, then scroll to the bottom of the settings page that results. I am using IOS 15.3.1 on an iPhone 7 Plus.
I would appreciate it, if you could make the search bar available on either the top or the bottom of the iPhone, like on the Safari search engine.

If you could do it, it would be appreciated. Thank you!
