It doesn’t have to be Twitch related. Any extension that you use for any and all purposes can interfere with code. All sorts of little things that we add or modify to the browser or our devices can cause a variety of problems.
It all still runs and active. It just doesn’t present you with an interface or do what it’s programmed to do until you get to that domain. I’m not saying it’s what is causing the problem, but just wanting to point this out to you if you’re unaware.

This does make me question my suggestion on you to do the reading above, but it’s still worth checking out. It also will be helpful for you to run on Private or to create a new browser profile and make sure to run without adding extensions or changing settings. Big thing here is trying to test if there is interference from anything.
