Brave Sync not working across Win PCs

Description of the issue:
Brave Sync was successfully set up on my 2nd Windows computer (a laptop) and synced all that was set to sync (custom sync options) including bookmarks. I only use this laptop about 1x/month, and now the new bookmarks from my desktop are not syncing to the laptop.
I can’t even remove my laptop from the sync chain: it sends me back one menu to the main Settings>Sync page, but when I click Manage Sync Settings, I see I’m still in the chain.

You are not alone, this has come up a few times recently, I’m not sure if this is a bug but in the first post below the issue was resolved for the OP user there so…

Thanks, but these are all issues getting sync between PC and mobile to work. Mine is PC-to-PC, and it was working but is now broken. So those responses aren’t quite apt.

It is still a Brave sync issue, so I would still suggest you consider looking the information over, maybe it’s not applicable to your specific situation but I thought reviewing Brave Sync info might help, but you do with the information as you wish, hope you’re able to get it resolved either way :wink:

Really uncreative name I know but :man_shrugging: it’s what came to me as I was setting up the account.

Just ended up deleting the sync chain entirely and recreating a new one. Sometimes brute force is the easiest approach.
