Brave Sync not working in windows and android

The Brave Sync is not working. Could not able to sync windows app with android app (both are up-to-date).

Neither android or desktop app has an inbuilt scanner app to scan the QR code. Both are having QR or security code but nowhere there is place to enter that code. How to sync then?

Please fix this bug.

here what I found.

you must initiate the sync chain from one device and join from the other.

  • so basically leave sync chains from all devices
  • initiate it from windows and choose for android
  • from your phone start a new sync and scan the QR code

I have followed all the tips I found on this page: transferring my Desktop bookmarks to my Android Phone still doesn’t work. Only mobile bookmarks are shown on Android. Very disappointing
