@sampson just FYI, I think it’s related to others who have recently shared. They are saying even when choose Extensions as preference, it’s not picking up on Metamask. Let me link to some below:

When interacting with a dapp, whenever I try to sign any login request selecting Metamask on the dapp, Brave Wallet pops out instead of Metamask. I’ve reseted the Brave Wallet and now it redirect to Brave Wallet creation.
My default Ethereum Wallet is set to Extensions.
I’ve never changed browser configs for a while and after last week’s update, I’m getting the issue described above. The issue t’s annoying.

Hello. I’m having problems using Metamask in the Brave browser on my Mac desktop. Most sites no longer see the Metamask wallet in my browser.

Hi, about 3 days now or so when trying to access my wallet on any web3 site it refuses to even recognize metamask and will either default to brave wallet or shoot me to the add metamask extension page, even though i already have it. Description of the issue:
When attempting to connect Metamask on Brave to any site with a connect button, the site does not recognize I have metamask on brave, Metamask is the only wallet I have this issue with. The wallet works on chrome. This issue only happens on Brave and 5 minutes prior to when I first experienced this issue it was working fine on all websites.

I used to be able to go to OpenSea and click connect and a popup shows up with options with MetaMask at the top and it would go to MetaMask - instead it now opens the Brave Wallet in a new tab
