I have been noticing that if I keep Brave open on my desktop it begins to stress out my PC. I know this as my adjustable rate fans kick in and run at a much higher rate of speed than when Brave is not running. Sometimes the fan speed is very high (loud) and if I close Brave the fan speed returns to normal. Is there anything that can be done to resolve this?

This could depend on many different things – the first thing I would check is Hardware Acceleration. Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue?
You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration

Thanks for the suggestion. I changed the settings and it seems like Brave is no longer causing my fans to speed up like it did before. Thanks for the hint. Very helpful
