Description of the issue:
After setting up sync on both Android and PC, both devices show they are in a sync chain. But they aren’t actually syncing. History, bookmarks, open tabs, everything is different. It’s been an hour since I synced them.
Steps to Reproduce
Set up sync on desktop
Scan QR code on Android
Brave Version(Windows):
Version 1.12.112 Chromium: 84.0.4147.125
Brave Version(Android):
Version 1.12.113 Chromium: 84.0.4147.125
Type of devices currently running on the Sync chain in question:
Android v9 and Windows 10
Basically the same issue here except my Windows is still 7. The only other difference is I never put any bookmarks in my Android version so the sync should be very apparent. I have even force stopped Brave on my phone and restarted it, all while the first computer in the chain is shut off. Yet, after an hour, still nothing is going into my phone.
EDIT: Sometime today, they finally loaded on my Android phone! Previously, when I backed out of the Mobile Bookmarks screen, I was just taken back to the main screen. Now it shows the mobile and Bookmarks option which has been imported from my main PC. Have you had any success yet, @VarnishD?
