Sync not working although device added

Description of the issue:
Sync isn’t working although I’ve added my devices (Mobile + desktop), No bookmarks or passwords or anything synchronized.

I’m using the latest versions of both desktop and mobile apps.

Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Version 1.12.114 Chromium: 84.0.4147.135 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Type of devices currently running on the Sync chain in question:
Windows 10 (64-bit)
Android 9

@yasserberrehail have you enabled what you desire to sync? Also have you got any (either software- or hardware- based) firewall? Is sync port open on firewall?

  • I enabled all sync options as shown in the screenshot.

  • I am not using a third party firewall app except windows 10 builtin firewall which I don’t think that it’s blocking sync (as far as I checked.)

  • How can I check if the port is open?

The easiest way would be to open windows firewall app and create rule which will explicitly let Brave browser through.
Im aware that default behaviour of windows firewall app is to allow everything, but sometimes specyfing explicit rule helps.

Just before specifing rule you can turn firewall app off and try to sync than. Just to see id explicit rule is needed.

Actually It’s solved without doing anything except updating brave to the latest update.
