Description of the issue:
Brave locking up. Hesitating after clicking a link. Also becoming stuck “error retrieving cache” (I have cleared my cache and this makes absolutely no difference).
How can this issue be reproduced?
Just go to Amazon, since this seems to be the worst site. I did us the “report broken site” feature yesterday.
On specific sites it is much worse than others. Amazon for some reason almost won’t run at all. It just locks up every time you click anything. I had to change browsers to place an order.
Expected result:
Locks up as if there’s some communication error.

Then it likely has something to do with either:
An extension you have installed in the browser – you can try disabling your extensions temporarily and see if this changes the behavior when browsing Amazon.
Some “bad data” you have cached – you can try clearing your browser history (Menu --> History --> Clear browsing data) and then seeing if this stops the freezing on Amazon
Okay I had 6 extensions. Disabling them all and then re-enabling them one by one, I whittled it down to Forecast Fox or Infinite Dashboard.
I was able to re-enable Infinite Dashboard, but re-enabling Forecast Fox bones Amazon again. So, it is either Forecast Fox or Forecast Fox in combination with Infinite Dashboard.
