Brave Slows Down and then crashes if i visit any website or shopping websites like amazon and ebay

Brave is having issues were if i go to website or any type of shopping website as well the browser slows to a crawl and then crashes after it crashes i open brave again and it dose it over and over until i don’t restore the pages which is really annoying because i cannot access amazon or eBay or any other websites which is pretty annoying. I do not know if anyone is having the same issue as me but its happening on brave version Version 1.73.89 Chromium: 131.0.6778.69 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 11 24h2

I suspect that Amazon is very busy. Several times, I get a report in a Brave Browser window, something about a failed connection.

But a moment later, after yet-another reload of the webpage, Amazon is there.

Javascript Console for Brave Browser has been showing “Slow network is detected.” Without my visiting Amazon.

Next, visiting www.amazon.com, the Javascript Console reports:

I am guessing, that Amazon now has a lot of more-intense (heavy) data to download onto a person’s computing device, for the person’s Internet browser to deal with.

I am still using an old, mid-2010 MacBook Pro, a woodburning paddle-wheeler.

BTW, I run Brave Browser with lean settings, meaning, I have the browser set to clear all cache and cookies, every time I quit the browser.

I always use the Private Browsing mode.

But still, Amazon can be slow.

its not that its the whole browser it lags and then freezes and the browser crashes and closes i been having this issue on both desktop and mobile it happens when i visit some sites or just use the browser for a certain amount of time and the memory goes high all the sudden and then low and high

Mobile device OS, and Brave Browser (mobile device), details?

Clear browsing data on your Windows OS PC

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to:

brave://settings/clearBrowserData

Select the Advanced tab

Set Time range to “All time”

ENABLE everything except:

  • Passwords and other sign-in data

(Myself, I would NOT make that exception)
(because I would have a backup prepared.)
(In other words, be prepared.)

Click on the “Clear data” button

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to:

`brave://net-internals/#dns

Click on Clear host cache

Next, same window, select “Sockets” on the left.

Click Close idle sockets

Click Flush socket pools

Quit everything and Restart your Windows OS PC

Flush the Windows OS DNS cache:

Open a Command prompt, then run it as an administrator:

  • Right click CMD
  • Click Run as administrator

Type or paste each command below

  • ipconfig /release
  • ipconfig /flushdns
  • ipconfig /renew
  • netsh int ip reset
  • netsh winsock reset

Then Restart your Windows OS computer.
