Passwords are not synchronized

Description of the issue:
Passwords are not synchronized between my windows pc and my android smartphone and vice versa.
In the sync settings of brave in windows I selected “sync all”. Data synchronization on my smartphone is turned on.
This issue only affects passwords, bookmarks are synced.
I have a pc with windows 10 and a poco f2 pro with android 12 miui 13

Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows: 1.45.133 Chrorium 107.0.5304.141 Android: 1.45.133

Type of devices currently running on the Sync chain in question:
I have a pc with windows 10 and a poco f2 pro with android 12 miui 13

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. Can you please confirm the following

  1. Do you see both devices on the chain in Settings --> Sync?
  2. Do you have passwords/all relevant data types selected to be synced at the bottom of that same Sync page?
  3. Is it only passwords that are not syncing? That is, is all other data syncing without issue except for passwords? Or is data not syncing at all?

  2. yes I have passwords and all data selectd for be synchronized on the page of synchronization.

I solved the problem, I selected “data preferences” in the sync settings in the brave brawser app for android.

I have the same issue as @miosayyid and @spider15 . Only the passwords are not synching and it won’t enable

Same issue on SM-G990U2: I was using Brave for a while without enabling sync. Now after enabling sync, I cannot enable password sync option - it asks for fingerprint/pin but then it does not toggle on, shows no error messages. Enabling “sync all” does not seem tosync passwords either. On my new linked phone the option to enable sync passwords worked without problems, but that phone still does not get the passwords or settings from the old one.
