OpenSuSE Leap 15.x Cups admin unable to prompt for password

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install Brave on OpenSuSE Leap 15.x 64-bit
  2. Start Brave and enter localhost:631 in the url bar and hit return
  3. Click on Administration
  4. Click on Add Printer

Expected result:
Authorization dialog dialog prompting for username and password should appear

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.67.123 Chromium: 126.0.6478.126 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Brave works as expected on Debian 12.
Browser was installed from official repo.
