Launch authentication impossible with biometrics

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install Howdy or use the system biometrics
  2. Launch Brave (probably a session with saved passwords I guess)

Expected result:
Brave will put an authentication prompt that is probably not a native one since you always need to put your password and cannot use biometrics.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.35.101 Chromium: 98.0.4758.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
I personally use Howdy but a friends says it’s the same with system-native fingerprint sensor authentication.

I use Pop!OS / Ubuntu 21.10
