My5 will not load on Brave

My5 will not load on Brave browser.Each time I try to watch My5 on my laptop I see
“APP-1001
We are sorry but My5 is currently unavailable.
We should be back shortly. Thanks for your patience.”

Any help with this please

Hi and welcome to the community.

Just wondering if the site was working before or you are just recently trying to access? Also, have you tried with shields off? Posted a link below to an older topic where turning off shields allowed access. Brave support staff had to get involved to permanently fix the issue, which may be the case here too.

My5 TV only works with brave shields off: https://www.my5.tv/ The site functions as expected when Shields are turned off Brave Version 1.18.77 Chromium: 87.0.4280.101 (Official Build) (64-bit) I only noticed this happening in the past few days, it blocked all ads no problem before then. If I turn shields on the page won’t load at all.

Thanks for the report, have rolled out a fix in Easyprivacy. Give it 24-48hrs and retest

Please provide your Brave version and OS to help troubleshoot your problem. Also, any other details or troubleshooting steps you have tried that may help provide more information, including a link to the site, do you have extensions installed, did you try disabling them, etc.

I am using Brave version 1.41.100 Chromium 103.0.5060.134 (official Build)(64-bit) on Windows 10 home I have tried all trouble shooting & even messages My5 who advised
“The Brave browser isn’t currently officially supported for My5. Do you have an alternative browser you can use, even if just to check if the site works on there?
If you could though try opening a private browsing window on Brave and see if the site works in there? If it does it suggests there may be an extension running that is causing this issue.

My5 & Brave browser

I have found the problem. I only have 3 extensions, a password manager,Microsoft outlook(for my calendar) & Bitdefender anti tracker.It turns out that Bit defender anti tracker blocks My5(when I asked Bitdefender if it was their anti tracker causing the problem they said it was impossible for their anti tracker to block My5) I took them at their word. I decided to try switching off my apps in sequence & found that Bit defender was the problem.My5 works perfectly now I have switched off anti tr…
