Is there a way to transfer autofill save data from one hard drive to another by moving files?

My hard drive crashed and is now in an unbootable state.

However, I am still able to access some files on it by using it as a storage device for a second hard drive.

Is there any way for me to take the saved autofill passwords from my now unbootable hard drive and move them onto my new hard drive?

@jesuschan If you’re able to access your entire Brave folder, then you can move your prior existing wallet, extensions, etc over to a new device (assuming they are PC or w/e). The trick is you need to make sure the new device is not currently running Brave.

The details on that can be found at the Reddit links below. As to the links from 289wk, I see those are dated 2018 and 2019, so there’s been a lot of changes since then. I also know Chriscat (product manager) has said moving just certain files can cause issues with ads and all. So you can try that, it might work, but do so at your own risk.

So resources I mentioned that talk about how to Backup and Restore Brave until they roll out their official version is below:

And those are both from just this year, 2022. Just make sure you read all the details before you go to do it.
