Getting error of to many verified wallets

Briefly describe your issue:
Went to get my rewards and got this message - “Device Limit Reached |Your wallet cannot be verified because you’ve reached the maximum verified device limit.7/27/2021”

What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)?
Windows 10 -
Version 1.27.111 Chromium: 92.0.4515.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Is your browser wallet currently verified? (yes/no)
yes

What date did you verify your wallet?
like a year ago

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?
yes

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)
no

Are you in a supported region (see here for list of supported regions)?
yes

Does your device pass the SafteyNet check (Android only)?

Have you manually turned off Auto-contribute on all of your devices linked to Uphold??
yes

You can’t do anything.

You can only connect your Uphold Account to 4 Browsers, anything after that won’t get verified.

I have only verified it on 3 browsers is there a way to see what they are connected to. This is the main browser that I set up first with my wallet.

Did you Update this Device?

Like from Windows 10 to 11, etc…?
Or did you reinstall Brave?

I did update from Windows 10 to a new version of Windows 10. Is there a way to clear the verified list and re-verify it? I have several BAT’s waiting to be sent.

There is no way to clear that list and its basically unsolvable currently.

They are introducing Gemini very soon though. So do wait for that.
It too will have the “4-Device Limit” so make use of them very carefully.

The only way to Withdraw it right now is to create a new Uphold Account with someone else’s Documents as proofs.

Is there a way to unregister a device I have access to them can I do that from the device?

Read this line… I said nothing can be done…

Try this

Create a Brave Creators account ( creators.brave.com)

Add your YouTube channel via +Add channel button

And Connect your Uphold Account here

Now open the same YouTube channel , In a Private tab > goto profile > Send 1 BAT

Now wait for payout date ( 13 of each month)

If you got that 1BAT to your uphold account then send rest of your BAT (from an unverified account)

This is against the ToS and may get your account terminated.

So, don’t give people wrong information.

I got this message from a mod when I had asked someone to self-tip:

Is this in the works to clear this list or manage this list? A lot of people get new laptops or PCs. Seems like a lot of people will eventually hit this 4 limit. Even if they add Gemini to the list. I get a new work PC every other year, and I also have a work MacBook plus my home one and I use Brave on them all. I would hit this limit quickly.

If not is there a spot where we can put requests like these in ? Thank you

Many such requests have already been given and hence they are working on it.

But, both Uphold and Brave have to take this decision. So it may take them a lot of months to get it introduced.

I did read and I think it’s okay to self tip but some officials says it’s not legal.

Yes, the Brave devs are working on a method to be able to restore device allotments after an account has been unlinked, but it’s not yet available.
