Brave window resizes smaller every time it's viewed

Description of the issue:

Every time the Brave browser window is viewed, it is resized smaller. There’s a visible flicker when the window is displayed at the original size and then redrawn slightly smaller, by approximately the width of the scroll bar, and the height reduced by the same amount. The top left corner remains in the same spot, the bottom right corner gets moved inward every time the window is displayed.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Move view to alternate desktop
  2. Return to desktop where Brave window is located.

OR

  1. Minimize Brave window.
  2. Restore Brave window.

Expected result:

Brave window should be the same size as it was previously.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.35.100 Chromium: 98.0.4758.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

This did not happen before updating to the latest version. Previous version was ok, 1.34.81.

@iestynapmwg

On a chance that the CPU / GPU in/out processes are somehow being kept very busy (it could happen - with different symptoms?) . . . and that is affecting the display . . .

Might you test the hardware acceleration switch Enabled / Disabled:

brave://settings/system

And consider what @flasher777 did :
