I saw the update to .118 and looked for sync. Wasn’t there, so I activated it via flags. Did so and now Brave starts and immediately closes.
I am fine to reinstall it, but how do I save my bookmarks and passwords?
Since sync wasnt working, I have not other device with the backups.

Hi @Cheechako, welcome to Community!
If you navigate to
C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data, you should see a folder called
Default. This folder will contain your bookmarks, extensions, etc…
After you re-install Brave you can then copy the contents from your
OLD Default folder to the
NEW Default folder.
This is for you main Brave profile. If you have multiple profiles you’ll have to copy over the ones called
Profile X , x being some number depending on how many profiles you made/deleted.
