Description of the issue:
Google Search Engine automatically switching to Bing when I prefer Google

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Change search engine to Google
Type something in the address bar
Brave redirecting the search to bing instead of Google

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Switched to Bing

Expected result:
Search on google

Reproduces how often:
Always

Unlikely that your problem has anything to do with brave.

Probably malware on your Mac. Or an extension interfering with your web activity. My guess is an extension is redirecting your search queries. By doing it, extension gets a cut from bing to make users use their bing search engine.

Go to top right hand corner hamburger menu, create a new profile (or guest profile). Do not add any extension or change any settings. Do a google search and see if it redirects like before.
