Bing being used as search engine

My default and ONLY search engine in Brave browser is Google.
Recently (past 2 days) everything I search ends up redirecting me to Bing. I detest anything Windows.

I followed a previous post that had the same issue, it was fixed by reset of Brave settings? This worked for me, for around 5 minutes, then defaulted to ‘Bing’ and not ‘Google’?

Description of the issue:

When I type in a word in the address bar from the Brave home screen, I see the Google G logo. As soon as I press enter to search it will show me it used Bing instead?

Expected result:

This is most likely a browser addon or other ad-ware interfering with your traffic. Try temporarily disabling all your browser extensions and re-enable them one by one, checking between each step if the problem persists.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, I disabled all extensions and re-enabled them in turn, I found one that caused it to switch to Bing. It was a ‘Colour Picker’
