@Luser it’s helpful if you Search Before Posting as there are already a lot of discussions on this happening. There are two things to keep in mind here.

You’re using an older, unsupported version of Brave. That means you can’t get assistance on any issues that come. There will be no more patches or updates. Ideally you should be updating your OS and browser.

The workaround found by people is that disabling Shields will resolve the crashing. This is especially true for YouTube and Google owned sites.
