Youtube video mouse hover spikes CPU usage

Description of the issue: Watching Youtube videos with mouse hovering over video spikes CPU usage from 3-5% to 20-30%.
When mouse isn’t hovering on video or when it disappears with Youtube’s “control overlay” (I guess, don’t know how it’s called :smiley: ) usage returns to normal.
Had this before reinstalling windows, one of the reasons why i switched to Firefox. Firefox does not have this problem (but has MANY more other problems).

  • Tried turning extensions off - slightly improved result, but like 5%, so basically nothing.
  • Tried tuning Shields off
  • Tried turning off graphics acceleration

Brave Version: v1.67.134
Win11
Ryzen 5600x
RTX 3070
DDR4 32gb

Has anyone experienced something similar and can help me here?
