So I updated windows and drivers, and all of the sudden brave is a lot slower than usual while loading youtube videos, don’t know if it pertains to anything else because it seems to be fine with multiple twitch streams open and such.
Before this happened, I could run multiple videos on youtube that are 4K60 and play them at 2x speed and none buffer or stutter, so I know it isn’t a problem with my hardware or internet. Currently if I use plain chrome I can still do this fine.
Now though; if I do this with Brave, even if it’s a single 1080p video, it loads way way slower, and will buffer after a few seconds at 2x speed, and sometimes at normal speed. I’ve tried disabling all extensions and it doesn’t help, but disabling hardware acceleration does help and it does run the way it’s supposed to, but obviously the frames are more choppy and such so that’s not preferable.
