Description of the issue:
When using Brave browser, my system volume decreases incrementally, even with my hands off the mouse / keyboard. A Brave volume panel opens top left of my primary screen and I see the blue vertical volume bar decrease in 3-7% values over 2-3, minutes until it hits zero.
When in Brave, I have SoundCloud.com open and am listening to music. This happens irregularly. It’s good some days then it just begins randomly. It does not just affect browser volume, it changes system volume as well so games, music, notification sounds are all reduced. If I slide volume back up sometimes it stays and sometimes it reduces again.
Followed all Windows Sound fault finding guides to no avail.
This does not happen in Chrome and if I shut Brave down the issue stops. I also run Linux based Brave and this issue has not been observed in either Linux Mint 21 or Zorin Pro 16 on the same PC hardware.
How can this issue be reproduced?
