Unable to claim rewards on Ubuntu, claim button unresponsive

Briefly describe your issue:
I am unable to claim my Brave Ads rewards on Ubuntu: the claim button is clickable but unresponsive, nothing happens when clicked and nothing is printed to console (sorry for the bad quality picture).
Before this happened I had the same problem described in this thread, i.e. there was no “+X BAT arriving in X days” banner in the browser while waiting for payday to arrive. It might be related.

Yes, I was able to claim rewards in the past.

Have you manually turned off Auto-contribute on all of your devices linked to Uphold??
N/A, not linked to Uphold.

  • Copy/paste your Wallet ID (found on brave://rewards-internals)
  • Your OS and Brave version (first three lines in brave://version)
  • A screenshot of your Rewards panel in Settings --> Brave Rewards.
