Twitch player stops after several seconds, Error #3000

Twitch player stops after a few seconds of play, "Your browser encountered an error while decoding the video. (Error #3000)
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. load a Twitch video replay (eg https://www.twitch.tv/coldbloodedshiller )
  2. click play button
  3. wait until video stops playing with error

Expected result: ? video should play ?

Brave Version: 1.45.127

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and sorry to hear you’re having trouble with Brave. Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings one more time, to see if this resolves the issue?

You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration
