UPD: I solved the problem myself:

  1. I went to brave://flags/
  2. Entered ANGLE in the search
  3. I chose the DIRECTX 12 graphical backend

Now hardware acceleration in the browser works fine

Which GPU being used? Does changing to a lower resolution help?

I am using GPU RTX 3060Ti. Do you mean video playback resolution, or operating system resolution?

UPD: Tried changing the video resolution, tried changing the system resolution. The problem remains. Tried on other computers, the problem is the same.

Have you tried disabling the hardware acceleration in Brave Settings=>System ?

Now I tried disabling hardware acceleration and it helped!
Now it turns out the browser works without hardware acceleration?
Will there be an update that will fix this issue?
