Tor window question

When opening a Tor window is Brave just as secure if not more as Tor browser? Does Brave automatically block everything when opening the window such as ads, cookies, fingerprinting, activates HTTPS Everywhere, and Script blocking settings etc.?

@Defalt,
Sorry for the late reply – and good question!
I think this article should prove useful:

As for your question about Shields, launching a tor window will start with these Shields settings by default:

@Mattches,

Thanks for the reply, looks like all the right things are activated by default here but this is what my shields settings look like:

Here it says scripts allowed and 3rd party recognition blocked but I want all of these activated all the time in a Tor window… I change the settings and it doesn’t save, I also have sync activated. Could you patch the browser so these settings save every time I use the window? I don’t want to have to remember to change these every time I go and use Tor.
