The issue only confirms it’s a bug that will be fixed in the next release - 1.25.x - Release #3 .

Good news - there is already a pull request that will fix the issue:

Brave Mobile- Disable Tab Groups Disable the grid layout for the tabs

Go to “Settings”, then scroll down to “Appareance”, switch off “Enable Tab Groups”, relaunch twice. Success.

How to disable tab grid view

@J9Dore, In the browser, go to Settings --> Appearance --> Enable tab groups and toggle this option “off”.
