Tab groups and Grid Layout for open tabs

Description of the issue:
It seems I can either have group tabs, and grid layout, or neither. I want group tabs disabled, but grid view enabled, but it isn’t working with the flags and there’s no additional settings in Brave.

How can this issue be reproduced?
Disable group tabs also disables tab grid view.

Expected result:
Be able to choose grid view and group tabs separately.

You might include a Poll (use the little gear icon in the Reply Editor) - re your Request:

Build_a_Poll

Because you are making a Request for a Feature; and a Poll result adds weight to your Request.
