Grid layout of tabs page missing

Description of the issue:
I moved to a new mobile phone with Android 11. I installed Brave and when I opened tabs it shows a list view instead of the grid view. Also the option to group tabs in appearance menu doesn’t work even after enabling it. It disables itself again and again.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.31.87 release channel

I have the same problem with an ONN tablet Android 11. My LG L455DL Android 10 the grid tabs work fine. Both running Brave 1.30.89. Maybe just Android 11?
