Suggestions on custom URL search engines

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. In the search bar go to brave://settings/search
  2. Press “manage search engines”
  3. Press add
  4. Type https://duckduckgo.com?kg=p&q=%s into the URL input
  5. Type anything for the keyword and search engine name
  6. Press add
  7. Navigate to the search engine you just made and click the three buttons to the right of it
  8. Press “Make Default”
  9. Now open a new tab and start searching something

Expected result:
The search engine should work as expected but as you are typing in the search bar you will not get search suggestions as you would if you used a default search engine from brave.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.19.88 Chromium: 88.0.4324.96 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Additional Information:
This is not so much an issue as a feature request, if there was just another text field for where to request search suggestions from when making a new custom search engine that would be great, Thank you.

I figured it out, you just need to enable search suggestion in more at the bottom of settings.
