Description of the issue:
The issue I am having is this. When searching through the address bar on Brave, no matter the search engine chosen, it just sends me to a blank page afterwards.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Just by typing something in the search bar, no matter the search engine. For example, searching “Batman” brings me to a blank page. I had Bing set originally as my main search engine, and tested Google out after and I encountered the same issues each time. I cleared cache and re-installed Brave, but neither of that worked.
I can access Google and Bing when I navigate to their sites. Searching is completely fine that way. But it seems the address bar doesn’t want to bring me to the search results. It’ll load a page, but it’s completely blank.
Do you guys know what could be causing it?
Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.70.126 Chromium: 129.0.6668.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I kind of found a workaround. If I right-click on a bit of text and search via bing that way, it brings up the results page fine. I can even enter a search in the address bar afterwards, but it eventually goes back to a black page if I search again in another tab for example. So idk what the issue could be.
It’s not a major issue, but is annoying.
Edit* - Well that was short lived, that method stopped working.
@Bremaine,
Thank you for the detailed report.
To me this sounds like an issue caused by an extension — can you please try opening a Guest profile (Menu --> More tools --> Guest window) and test the behavior there and tell me if the issue persists there?
