Description of the issue:

I moved away away from Google then DuckDuckGo and glad to find Brave. Using both its browser and search tools.

Using the browser, I’d like to have my home page simply be a mostly blank page with the Brave Search bar in the middle (kind of like the way google home page is).

It there a way to to this?

I believe we’re working on having a Search bar type widget available at some point but its not yet implemented. In the meantime, you can set Brave Search to be your default search engine right from the address bar. Then you can go to NTP → Customize to change the images/backgrounds displayed on the New Tab page.

Looks like @CerealLover has a viable/alternate solution as well.
