“Your +1.97 BAT March rewards will arrive in 7 days”
The ad’s have been coming thick and fast last month and i put up with it because i’d be earning tokens. If I have earned 6 BAT then why are you only paying out 2 BAT?
This is not the first time that there has been a massive mismatch but this time I would like to know why this is happening. What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)?
When a new month begins, the display value of the current earnings will reset, and you will now see a countdown that tells you when your BAT earnings over the previous month will be arriving (for example, “+0.02 BAT arriving in 5 days”).
The estimated earnings you’re seeing up until this point have included these BAT that were not yet reconciled — so when your final payout balance for the month is calculated, its a mismatch between what was estimated and what is actually earned.
It basically means that you earned from it, but the ads aren’t reconciled by the time the payment period starts. So for example, if you earn .05 BAT at the end of the payment period, that BAT may take a couple days to be reconciled (maybe “processed” is an easier to understand term) — which means it doesn’t actually count towards what you earned this month and you’ll instead earn it next month.
@steeven you closed my topic as well. I am not new to brave rewards.
I doubt that people have 1 or higher full bat in that period. It makes no sense. The 1.7 bat left in my browser take me over a week.
This has never occured until 2 months ago and this month.
Something else is the issue here.
2 months this happened now. And never before. I use brave almost 2 years. And this is the first times I saw this. We should reset to 0.
This month i had 8.3 in browser, reset. I hade 6.6 waiting and still 1.7 left in my browser. How does this happen.
Last month i was left with next to 3 bat still left. And before that I was 0 every time.
If 2 months ago a new system to calculate was implemented, it needs to get looked at. If not, the engineers still should take a look. It makes no sense for this big overhang to occur.
This is exactly what is happening to me. There has always been a BAT “mismatch” when rewards roll out, but never has the difference been so large. In addition, it seems that the remaining BATs that are not awarded at the end of the month are carried to the next one, this never happened before.
same here !! facing the problem for 2 months !! before such things did not happen!! plz, help !! my earning was araound 9 bat but it is showing 5.8 bats for march reward !! and what about remaing 3.5??
I am just curious, did you mean you had ~3 BAT last month and only 1.7 BAT this month as rolled over balance? Meaning some of the 3 BATs actually got processed.
It’s some sort of bug and they say it’s fixed / will be fixed for next month. Our browsers have been failing to validate ad payments and this has not been handled correctly in software. Once they fix it, the browser should retry and revalidate the missing payments and we should get our payments in May.

I got paid today in the morning (first time I get paid on the first processing day, boo-hoo, I wanted double BAT!!) but sadly, my gains lost close to a half BAT counting both devices earnings, I was supposed to get 4.5~ for both, but for this first payment I only got 3.99 BAT. I’m hoping this is a bonus payment (doubt so) but for the first time I’ve lost BAT with processed payments. Can’t complain as I am on 2+ BAT on both accounts already for april, but hope these reductions on actual payments aren’t as common
Hey @steeven , like you said earlier i got the same problem too. I had 3+ bat but, some of my payment were sent to next month earnings (1.5+ bat)and rest of em sent to payout (2 bat), thats ok. But today I had claim button in my both brave beta and brave nightly. After i clicked the button i received just 0.250 bat, but I’m supposed to get 2 bat this month payout. I don’t know what happened here it happened on both browsers, is this an error or something? Can you help me here?
I had also the same problem I should recieve 3.15 BAT but on 1 April it said 2.25 BAT are on the way and remaining left in the browser(it’s okay ) this happens many time.
But during the claim received only 0.25 BAT.
What’s the exact problem?
Now only I saw on my another device I was about to receive 6+ BAT but I have verified wallet in this device so there should not come any claim button but this time got the claim button and instead of getting 6+ BAT received only 0.25 BAT and rest are disappeared not in browser, not in the wallet.
This is too much.
It’s completely unacceptable we should be getting our remaining tokens within this month.
Thanks for the reply Steven, I had experienced this issue last month as well and you said it was due to a bug with the browser not validating ad’s being viewed or something like that. You also said that it was hoped to be fixed for the May payout.
Are you sure it’s not a recurrence of that same issue?
hi i have also faced the same error this month and last month i remembered to screenshot it 10 days ago and my main pc was on 9.505 ive been paid 7.25.
the figures paid last month and this month appear to be reounded numbers whereas every month before it was a random number to several decimal places.
