Description of the issue:
Not sure when this started, but the brave browser is not letting me login to the MoviesAnywhere website using my email. The ‘continue’ button is greyed out. I tried disabling all my extensions and also tried logging in on private browsing, but the button is still grey. I’ve deleted cookies. I also tried creating a new profile and using a guest profile to no avail.
Anyone have any tips to login? I am able to login with Firefox and Edge (which show a reCaptcha on the bottom right), but not Brave. I also tried on someone elses computer and their Brave also has a ‘greyed button’.
@fanboynz I’m not able to figure this out yet either. Visiting on any other browser has it work just fine. Visiting on Brave (Release, Beta, or Nightly) all result in the Continue button remaining grayed out.
I test with Shields off and it didn’t make a difference.
Went to Dev Tools and changed user agent, but it still didn’t work
Opened in private window, still nothing
On Nightly went to brave://flags and set #brave-show-strict-fingerprinting-mode then tried toggling the options, but none of it mattered. ,
Switched to iPhone but it also has the same issue…though works on Safari and Chrome
I did also notice that as ImmaTry mentioned, one of the other differences is that the reCaptcha thing doesn’t appear on the site like it does in other browsers…regardless of whether Shields is disabled or useragent changed.
Hmm @fanboynz , not the case for me. Button is always gray but can be clicked on for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Vivaldi. Where as for Brave it’s more faded out and can’t be interacted with. Is there any type of information can get you on this?
Apparently the explanation from MA is that the browser is not supported despite being a Chromium browser. It used to work until a few weeks ago, and now it does not, so not sure what else. I’ll use a different browser in the future. TY both for your help.
