Description of the issue:
Recently (last week or two?) I’ve been unable to use any forms that have Google reCaptcha on them. I have to disable the Shields Up for each site with this problem, in order to get the reCaptcha to work and then submit the form .
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Go to a page with a form using Google ReCaptcha.
Here are some examples from last few minutes:
https://www.dream-pod.com/the-dreampod/ (contact enquiry form)
https://mycpa.cpa.state.tx.us/coa/ (business search form)
- Click the reCaptcha.
- It gets stuck.
Expected result:
reCaptcha should give a green tick. Instead, it is going around and around, and never completing.
With ShieldsUp disabled for the domain in question, I get the green tick within a fraction of a second. No issue.

Additional Information:
It’s happened on every (around 6 sites) website I’ve tried to submit a form on today (which all had Google reCaptcha on them).
I can get around it by clicking the Lion / Brave icon, and disabling Shields Up.
I have no VPN. I have no VPN related extensions. The only extensions I have are Tabs Outliner; 1Password; DevonThink Clipper; BrainTool.
