Problems with latest update

I’m using Brave 1.36.112, which I assume is the latest version. Now, when I load my banking website, there is no space for entering my userid, making it impossible to get in. I also notice that right-clicking on a link IMMEDIATELY opens it and brings it to the front. I prefer the old way of opening a link but leaving at the back. Are there any solutions to these problems? could you try to clear you browser cache for long time period and in private mode

if it work then try again in normal mode if it has issue then disable all your extension and enable them one by one till you get the one causing the issue

Didn’t work. I don’t have any extensions right now. Also, another problem, when I load community.brave.com, there’s no place to log in. I’m having to use Edge to contact this site. And that takes a whole lot longer to load!

what time range you use when you deleted your cache

i guess you use windows so could you restart your computer restart not shutdown then start

and what is your windows version

I have Brave set to clear the cache and cookies when I exit the program. And I am using Windows 10 Pro, version 21H1.

could you try the following but restart your device first

  1. make sure your shield is set to standard for tracker and fingerprint part then go to your bank site and try again

  2. if one did not help disable the shield and go to your bank and try again

  3. could you create new profile and without change any setting try to check the site again see if the new profile work fine

Number 3 worked. So I went back to my original profile, reset the settings, and it worked again like it is supposed to. I must have changed a setting that messed things up for me. Oh, and the problem with right-clicking on a link turned out to be in Edge, not Brave. Another reason I appreciate getting Brave working for me again.
