Whenever I try to use the shortcut for paste (ctrl + v) it will not work at all. I have went into the brave shortcut settings to find that the shortcut for paste was not set. I tried to reset this to the default one, but it won’t allow me to add specifically ctrl + v, ‘ctrl’ by itself works or when combined with anything else, ‘v’ by itself works, but not together. I have updated brave to the latest version, Windows, Keyboard drivers, and graphics drivers, nothing works. The shortcut also works completely fine in any other application. I am forced to use my mouse to use paste.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Highlight text
- Hold “Ctrl” + “C”/“X”
- Hold “Ctrl” + “V”

The highlighted text to be pasted in the text box
