Passwords DO NOT SYNC desktop to mobile

Syncing of passwords between desktop and mobile(android) not working
Brave browser version -
Version 1.29.79 Chromium: 93.0.4577.63 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
I have imported my passwords from Chrome to Brave browser on my desktop(.csv file worked)
I have both devices(mobile & Desktop) on the sync chain.
I have everything selected to sync rather than custom
I have Brave browser on my mobile device but in settings and passwords no passwords populated.
I have waited 24 hours(+ more) as other threads said it could take some time.
Bookmarks do not seem to have synced either - but that is not the main issue.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, re linked on chain etc but still no passwords on mobile device.

Any help greatly appreciated
