Not all of my BAT has transferred over since I linked Gemini to Brave (Android)

Briefly describe your issue:
I had previously accumulated 62 BAT in an unverified wallet on Brave Android (Pixel 5). On June 15th, I finally linked my Gemini account which already had 100 BAT from other Brave installs. Upon linking, the 62 BAT on my phone disappeared and then the rewards counter showed 152 BAT around 15 minutes later.

Last I checked, 100+62 != 152. Where did the remaining 10 BAT go? I’ve waited for half a month thinking that they’d show up eventually but now I am thinking they’re trapped in limbo somewhere.

On the brave://rewards-internals page, I see a promotion_claimed => 61.750000 entry which matches my previous BAT balance, so I am assuming that was the transfer over to Gemini, but unfortunately it is not reflected in my actual account.

I would love to know what happened to the 10 BAT. Thanks in advance!

What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)?
Brave 1.40.106, Chromium: 103.0.5060.53 is what my device currently shows, but I do not remember what version it was when I linked.

No, I am not using Uphold. I am using Gemini instead. However, all of my devices do have AC turned off.

I’m not sure what your other “counters” were like, but it could have been sitting there are part of Estimated Earnings or something.

Anyway, your best bet is to submit a Support Ticket so they can investigate and try to handle it for you. Keep in mind payouts are starting to process now and they can be somewhat limited on handling payout issues in that timeframe. This means they’ll handle as fast as they can, but be mentally prepared for it to take 2-3+ weeks before getting responses or of them letting you know the solution.
