Description of the issue:
I recently moved from India to USA and I am unable to connect my brave rewards to brave wallet. It doesn’t show at all and even I changed my uphold account to USA address and updated the details but when I try to connect to uphold it shows “Region currently not supported”. I even reset my brave rewards and deleted browser and re installed. My device location is also changed to USA.

In terms of being able to connect to Uphold, the error you’re sharing makes it seem you haven’t updated everything. Keep in mind that API reports your country based on your passport. If you only have changed your address and nothing else, it wouldn’t be valid. Basically, you have to prove American citizenship/nationality and not just residence.

Actually, let me do a little addendum. In most countries Uphold requires passport. For USA we don’t use passport as often so instead they have us submit a driver’s license or a state ID for those who can’t drive.

Example of some of the information you would need if you don’t have an ID would be found at https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/driver-licenses-identification-cards/real-id/what-is-real-id/real-id-info-non-u-s-citizens/ though may vary depending on what state you’re in.

Once you’d have that, you would need Uphold to replace your passport with the USA information, if they would. They may also then go with the KYC/AML process as they might have done in the beginning, requiring photographs and all.

just for clarity, a passport also works in the US. it’s what I used.

never have driven due to poor depth perception and state I.D.s expire faster than a passport.

I did the KYC with my USA driving license

@Manoj0251 let me confirm, you’re seeing that message before trying to connect or after? In other words, does it allow you to try to login to Uphold or it shows the message first and doesn’t let you try to login?

It is showing after login
