Description of the issue:
I couldn’t link to my Uphold Wallet, even after my Uphold account was registered with the country it supported. How can this issue be reproduced?
Click on the “brave reward” button
Click on the “Unverified” button and click on the “Continue Button”
Select Uphold wallet which is over Gemini wallet
Click on authorise button
And the Error Pop-Up
Expected result:
The uphold account should be successfully connected;
Brave Version( check About Brave):

Additional Information:
I have checked my uphold account, and they have confirmed that my uphold account is registered with the country where the services are supported, which is the United Kingdom address. It should connect but I’m not sure why this error pops up. The error is shown below.
Error: region currently not supported
Your Uphold account can’t be connected to your Brave Rewards profile at this time. Your Uphold account is registered in a country that’s not currently supported for connecting to Brave Rewards.

Thanks for your reply. Passport is from India. But I have asked my Uphold team to change my address by providing valid id Wich is driving licence. Right now the total address has been changed and the account is under UK regulation. I hope this should work.
@Albym.vishak Unfortunately your ID has to match. So despite your address having been verified, it’s reporting via the API to Brave that you’re from India. The only way to fix this would be for you to get a UK ID, which you should be able to get if you’re a resident. Once you can get a valid government photo ID that shows you in UK and have Uphold update it, then it will show to Brave and you should be able to link.
@Saoiray I have used the two valid photo id which are Driving License and my Biometric Residential Permit(BRP). Both are the Unique valid id which are the proof I’m a UK resident. I doubt why my old details are being checked at this instance by brave.
Even I have checked the uphold team about this issue, where they confirmed that the Account has been successfully registered under the UK address and UK regulations which clearly state no more Indian registered account.
They also asked me to check our Brave community. I wish I able to connect my brave with Uphold account which is the only account currently accepts United Kingdom.
@Albym.vishak If you did use those, then it should have been updated. If you recently did this, it might take time to reflect to it. If it’s been a little while, then you can always feel free to reach out to Brave by creating a Rewards Support Ticket to see if they can help you. Make sure when you do the ticket, you’re not only providing the information it asks on the form, but also in your Description section, include your Uphold ID and the email associated with your Uphold account.
I’m saying to include the extra information that way they have everything they need to try to look into it and see if anything they can do on their end.
