I have a problem with connecting to the creators. I want to make the connection, but this message appears: Region currently not supported Your Uphold account can’t be connected to your Brave Rewards profile at this time. Your Uphold account is registered in a country that’s not currently supported for connecting to Brave Rewards. Meanwhile, my country is listed in the List of Supported Regions. Where is the issue?
@Poshnjari the API that is used to communicate with Uphold checks based on the information you have provided Uphold, especially when you did KYC/AML. Assuming you are saying that your country is on the list at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/6539887971469 then it sounds like your issue is you are from a different country.
In other words, when you created your account and had to submit your passport, did you submit a passport for your current country or did you live somewhere else?
Also, what country are you in?

Same issue persists for me. I created my brave and uphold account in a country where brave reward was not supported. Now after having moved abroad to a supported country I have also changed the address in my uphold account to my current country. But when I go on to connect my brave rewards account to my uphold, it says the above error. Can you please let me know what is wrong?

@nusart28 The answer would be the same. Did you submit a passport for your new country? If all you did was a basic change of address and that would not be good enough.
The API, which is the connection between Brave and Uphold, uses the passport to determine the country that a person is in. If all you did was a change of address then Uphold would not have changed that And so they would be showing that you are from your original country when it’s communicating with Brave.
I did not submit my passport rather my residence ID proof while changing the address in uphold because the passport is not mentioned in the list of documents required for address verification. If there is any other portal for uploading passport, please let me know. Appreciate your help, Thanks!
