Description of the issue:
I use an intel MacBookPro produced in 2019 on which I run macOS 12.3.1
On the same MacBookPro I had no problems (under absolutely the same Brave settings) to access the extensions website below. Now I cannot anymore.
Instead, I get the error message:

> The web page at https://chromewebstore.google.com/category/extensions?hl=en-GB might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
> ERR_SOCKET_NOT_CONNECTED
