No Brave Ads with 2 Monitors

I have been using the Brave browser for well over 2 years now and everything seemed to work fine in regards to ads and payouts etc. Since linking another monitor to my macbook pro I now do not receive any ads what so ever nor earned any rewards for close to 12months now. Has anybody else encountered this? or is it something my new monitor has overridden to not show the notifications? I have gone through the help links and everything is set up as it should be in my notifications and I cant see anything out of the ordinary in my monitor settings either. Any help or tips on this subject would be very much appreciated.

The more errors I read about in this community the more I see people not getting answers to their question. Brave needs to step their game up and make a proper technical support page which THEY FUND technically experienced help to FIX their problems not just throw up a community forum for everyone to try and figure out problems for themselves and have a few common people in here as mods. This is the real world and if they want to make a company that can compete outside of crypto then in my eyes they need to make sure they have proper support for people using their products. I have no problem using this platform and have done for some time now but if anything in crypto is ever going to shine above any conventional method we have today, I believe it should run better than what we have now and proper support IS one of the main things needed to help people grow with their product. Theres nothing worse than trying to use something that isn’t working properly and then when you try to get help you just get sent on a wild goose chase to only return back to where you started from with no new information or unneeded information to help your situation, just going round and round in circles.

I use multiple monitors and receive ads and sponsored images with no issue so I don’t think the monitor addition would be an issue, although spotting them might be I guess you would still get sponsored images. I’m not on mac but I am on linux and things work there (albeit with the issue half the world is currently having getting rewards to Uphold - but that is clearly not your problem).

In my experience brave reward issues can often be caused by OS or brave browser itself not being fully up to date, in that order, but I guess you have already done that.

Not sure that this will have helped you and I hear your frustration, but when all’s said and done, like you I have used this browser for years, what they are trying to do is brave (excuse the pun) and imaginative and when the rewards bit goes wrong I confess I remind myself how great the browser itself is, even without the rewards.

Thanks for trying to help, already done all of the above and still not working. Even did the push notification to see if it was linked properly … which it was and came through from brave instantly. The only thing from the common problems on the page you linked could be my wallet possibly has suspicious activity linked to it. There was some irregularity in my account a while back, I logged in and for some reason a heap of my tokens randomly disappeared but this was before uphold came into the picture. Even if this is the case I have no way of sorting it out directly with brave because all of their support links back to where I am right now, in which you are the only one that has replied to me (In which I am grateful for)

I know Brave can block things if they detect irregularities and my guess would be to start there. I think the only way would be to get a member of the support team to look into it. They are quite inundated at the moment as you may have read elsewhere but I have found them to respond when faced with genuine people facing genuine problems. I’ve often seen @steeven solving things for people and he has responded to my current Uphold issue so I’m linking him in on this reply. He may pick it up from that or you may need to DM him with more specific details.
