New to BAT rewards and Confused on how it works

I just started with BAT rewards and not sure on how this works. I have multiple devices, that I use to browse with, and all are linked my uphold wallet to each computer. Is this an issue?

From what I read Canada is eligible. I have 8 ads on one and I forgot on the others. They are all at 0.000 Is each ad worth less than 0.000? Or some time frame I need to wait for? I also have auto contribute turned off. I like to have control on how I contribute. Or, did that make an issue for me?

@Bakool if you open the Rewards menu, you would see it shows like below:

Key part: image

Then there’s a banner on the top of this website which shows info from Ads Payout Status Update

We view ads and it accumulates, then it pays once per month. Payouts begin around the 7th of each month and can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to complete. Unless any issues, usually payouts complete within a week.

NOTE

Rewards is going to be changing drastically this year.

May also be helpful to check things like articles below:

My settings page looks like that.

I get the payout date. What I’m confused about is my BAT amount has not changed from 0.000

No, the little widget shows that. Go to your actual settings. SettingsRewards

Then it starts to look like below:

Did you not read my earlier reply? We get paid once per month. Of course it shows 0.00 still because you have not been paid (yet).

Please read through everything I linked you to earlier and the things I mentioned to you here.

It’s not an issue to have multiple devices linked to your Uphold wallet, as long as you’re using them according to the rules of the BAT system. Each ad you view typically earns a small amount of BAT, and if your balance is showing as 0.000, it may be because the earnings haven’t been processed or are still pending. Ads usually accumulate over time, and some might be worth less than others, depending on factors like region and ad availability. Since you have auto-contribute turned off, your BAT won’t be automatically transferred, which is fine if you prefer manual control. Just give it some time to see your earnings grow, and make sure you’re actively engaging with ads across all devices.

I didn’t see on how balance works in the links. I could have missed it.

I did read elsewhere that you need 25 bat initially before you can deposit.

So for every payout the bat will show up in the rewards page in brave until I hit 25, then I can deposit it? What happens after that?

Is it 25 for each browser or when one hits 25?

@Bakool not sure where you are seeing anything like that. No requirement on any amount of BAT to get your payout.

  1. Multiple Devices & Uphold Wallet:
There is no official limit to the number of devices you can link to your Uphold wallet. However, if the system detects an unusual number of devices, it may prevent linking to avoid potential abuse. Remember, BAT rewards are meant for user attention, not for farming or mining.

  2. Ad Earnings & Payout Timing:

  • There are no estimated earnings displayed in real-time. Instead, BAT payouts occur once a month.
  • Payouts typically begin around the 7th of each month and may take a few weeks to fully process.
  • Once your payout is processed, the balance will appear in Uphold and should also be reflected in your browser. However, if you withdraw BAT from Uphold, your browser balance will decrease accordingly, as it only mirrors what’s in Uphold.
  1. Auto-Contribute & Your Rewards:
  • Since you have Auto-Contribute turned off, this does not affect your ability to earn BAT. It simply means your earned BAT won’t be automatically donated to websites and creators.
  1. Controlling Contributions:
  • You have full control over how you contribute your BAT. When you visit a website that is registered as a Brave Verified Creator, you can choose to tip them manually.
  • You’ll know a site is verified when you see a checkmark on the Rewards triangle icon in your browser.

I’ve been using Brave for years, I used to see my rewards go up, now I see nothing. I tried resetting my Brave rewards 2 months ago, and I still see a reward balance of 0. I have received nothing in my Uphold wallet in months, maybe a full year, even though I’ve been connected to Uphold since I started using Brave.

Something isn’t working, I’m not getting any payouts, and it’s really frustrating. I have no incentive to view more ads than one per hour because I’m not getting reimbursed for it.

Create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431 so they can look into it.

My assumption is your account is flagged (suspended). If so, it would be at a custodial account level. This means even trying to reset Rewards and link a new profile or device would not circumvent it. Unlike in the past, Brave no longer gives notification in the browser to let people know when flagged.

But whether it’s that or another issue, still comes down to the only next step is to create a ticket so someone from Brave can take a close look and then get back to you on things

Thank you, I’ll do that. I wasn’t sure where to submit that, but that is exactly what I needed. God bless.

I just went to the brave rewards area which I never go to. I’ve been waiting for 1-2 months now for the invite after I removed Uphold.

It says Receive to self custody address. https://i.imgur.com/KnEFPHz.png

Do I have to sign up somewhere first so that the crypto goes into there?

Was this the invite I thought I was going to get in an email?

Have the rewards been accumulating since I have seen ads?

I see no balance & don’t know where to look.

When I clicked on the triangle, it’s saying I’ve only seen one ad this month, but still no balance.

Why did I get several ads last month & nothing this month?

Thanks

Hello. I hope you are ok.

Maybe someone else can answer me while you are away.
