Viewed Brave Ads not converting into BAT

Watched 90+ Ads still got 0 BAT. I can see ads, the ads are getting counted, but no BATs are getting credited, even after watching close to a 100 ads, the BATs are at 0.00!!

OS used~ MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1,
Brave version 1.75.181.

Payout account is connected with brave wallet, in a solana wallet, the account is successfully connected and is being shown as such.

Yes I’m in a supported region of Brave Rewards Program.

The same thing happened to me, but I am on Windows 11.

Did it get solved?? And if yes what did you do to solve the problem?

@SuyashBajpai @Whiskey_Charlie you get paid once a month. It’s not instant. Payouts begin around the 7th of each month and will pay you for everything you had seen in the prior months. Payouts aren’t instant and the process can take days or sometimes even weeks. The 7th/8th is just when payouts officially begin, not when we’re promised to receive it.

90 ads aren’t much. This indicates that you may have just enabled Rewards not long ago. If you did it too close to the end of the month, it’s possible your first payment will bein April instead.

Okay. Thanks. I was just worried because it said payouts were completed.

Ohh, thanks for helping!! Actually the ad count reset to zero today plus the fact that BAT was still showing 0.00 and a message was flashing “The payout for February rewards has completed.”, so i thought that i should ask about it in the community.

@SuyashBajpai understood. Just seems those linked to Solana have some error where it’s displaying that message instead. It should still show like below:

But checking my profile that’s linked to Solana, I see your message:

And yeah, ad count is just how many ads we have seen that month. Since it is now a new month (March), the counter would switch up to the current month’s ad views and we have no record of how many ad we saw for February. It’s weird how they do that, but it is what it is.

Was your solana account credited? Or does it also have some unsaid limit that you will have to watch some half a thousand ads to be credited?
Also thanks!! for your insight, atleast now i understand that it’s not a problem that only i have, although unfortunately the only thing that can be done is waiting.

@SuyashBajpai How did you connect with Brave Wallet??? i can’t create new uphold or gemini account because my region is not supported.

@Money_Wish it’s by invite only. Some are getting random invites. Quickest way though is to sign up for the waitlist. You may want to read through a lot of the things I have at PSA: Current and upcoming changes to Rewards and Creators

Thanks you. i submitted into awaiting form. hope i’ll get new notice as soon as possible…

Well I already had my brave wallet set up, so you can try that. I just got a notification through which i was able to link my solana account in a few clicks, i guess you have to setup brave wallet first and then maybe you also get to see the notification if you are lucky as saoiray said that it’s invite only.

Hi all, I am new on Brave and I hope you can help. I set up Brave (love the cookie blocking and all that) but the rewards part looks not to work. I have seen a humble 16 ads, but no change to my saldo, also connected to a Solana wallet. Also it does not display a pay out date or anything. I hope you can help (perhaps you @Saoiray )?

I am so sad. I reseted the settings and now I am not eligible to connect Brave rewards to my Solana wallet! This is really discouraging…

Only get paid once a month. Won’t see any immediate increase.

That stinks.

Correct, it’s invite only. When you reset, you burned the invite you had. Now you have to either apply for the waitlist or wait for invite to hit your current profile.

Well 16 is nothing i have watched more than a hundred and even that is nothing, atleast that’s what i came to know through the community. Also i guess saoiray already answered your question, you get paid only once every month, it’s not instant too.

By the way guys, earlier my account was showing that the rewards for February have been rolled out already, but now it has updated and shows “The payout for February rewards will begin processing by March 8.” So i guess that the only thing that can be done now is waiting. And by the tone of the message, i think it will take more than March 8th for the rewards to roll out.

@SuyashBajpai in general, I’d advise not to pay attention to what that says. It long has been inaccurate and not lined up with things. Overall it has always worked as a timer to show when the new month begins and to kind of say when payments should start. It’s never been an accurate portrayal of the actual progress, especially of payment for each individual.

The main thing to watch overall is Ads Payout Status Update which has like my screenshot below:

When they have payments finished on something, it will update, such as:

But currently none are complete. They sometimes will start issuing payments earlier, but as said before…generally the “start” date for it is the 7th. The difference between it saying the 7th or the 8th depends on your timezone, as if you’re near India it’s the 8th while it’s the 7th here.

But yes, it doesn’t just push out all the millions of payments in less than 24 hours. How long it takes to complete changes each month depending on how smoothly traffic goes.

Ohh, thank you so much for the help and that link, so i can just simply see that post and check if the payments have rolled out, thanks!!

ú ù…Hi Saoiray!
I have completed the survey in order to receive an invitation to connect my rewards account to my Brave wallet. How long does it usually take to get a response? Since this is the only way I can participate in the rewards program, I sincerely hope to receive a reply from Brave soon.
