Continual Brave rewards issues (and no response in any threads for months)


I am very confused.

I have not been paid correctly for many months. I had a period of over three months where ads were viewed, but nothing was counted, let alone paid out. Finally, last month I started to receive BAT for viewing ads. Now, I am back to zero BAT, no matter how many ads are viewed it stays on zero, and the 10+ BAT I earned last month have disappeared. They are no in my wallet, or my Uphold account. Vanished.

I have also had another separate thread that remained not responded to since April, as well as numerous replied to other people’s threads of the same issues which remain idle. So, I’ve started a new thread (again) in hope I get a response and these issues are resolved. Otherwise I will move to another Browser. Thus far the response time and service has been non-existent, and the issue remain unresolved for almost half a year.

interl0per - Yours is but one of the thousands of backlogged support requests each support staff has, and they will never get around to finishing that backlog, because hundreds of new requests are coming up each day.

Spread the word. Tell everyone how badly Brave are mishandling your funds. Because until Brave’s directors understand the significance of this issue and take important steps to address it, hundreds more users will continue to be denied payment every month.

Hey mate, thanks for the response. It is good to actually here from someone about this.

I just don’t understand how long we’re supposed to wait to have this resolved, I am over three months now. I am not sure what to make of being paid < 10% of the amount of BAT for the month, or nothing at all. Not sure what to make of being paid nothing at all. Not sure why it all worked so well for so many months, and now it has all gone to crap.

Realistically I do not need Brave. But Brave represented something I am philosophically aligned with and believe in. It is a shame it seems to be going to the dogs, and customer service is so poor.

Please DM with the following information:

  • Copy/paste your Wallet ID (found on brave://rewards-internals)
  • Your OS and Brave version (first three lines in brave://version)
  • A screenshot of your Rewards panel in Settings --> Brave Rewards.
