I currently saw 139 ads this month and my balance is still 0.
Also I connected my uphold wallet…
@Weme why are you expecting immediate payment? It pays once per month. As you see in your screenshot, it says the next payout date is January 7.
Also do note, even though payout begins around the 7th of each month, it can take days or weeks to finish. It’s only when payment begins. December’s earnings pays in January, January’s earnings in February, etc. You can track the payout status each month at Ads Payout Status Update.
The one up now says December payout, but that’s referencing what we earned in November that was paid here early in December.
@Saoiray I wasn’t expecting immediate payment. Instead, i expected my BAT rewards count to change. And yes, i do know that payouts are once a month…
If you are familiar with Microsoft rewards, each activity is x amount of rewards. When completed, the total rewards count is changed by x amount.
Also if you know, what’s the bat i earn per ad? I have heard its 0.1 but i am not sure.
edit: i was watching a few youtube videos about this and they didnt have to wait until the 7th of every month to see how much BAT tokens they have currently and/or the estimated earnings.
It varies based on ad. Keep in mind that we get paid 70% of whatever Brave is paid for each ad to show. Ad prices change based on a number of factors, so there’s no solid or set thing.
One of the people at Brave does run a site on his own where you can see ad campaigns in your region, how much they pay, view limits, etc. You can see it at https://sampson.codes/brave/ads/my_region/
Estimated earnings no longer exist. It went away early this month. There were numerous posts and even notifications. Part of the ads that were shown to us were of the Rewards Roadmap, which states we no longer have estimated earnings. But of course, this would require people to have paid attention and chosen to read.
You may want to check out some of it, such as:
No I’m not.
Brave is talking about introducing an offer wall. You’ll see that in the roadmap I linked a little above.
But for the traditional Rewards, we see ads and then we get paid the next month. It tallies up all of our activity from the first to the last day, then it pays in one lump sum for that month.
Oh okay, thanks for the info!
